Learning the different sales strategies and markets in the US. The trainee will learn how California iS able to develop a direct sale type of market. USA has developed wine club programs for clientele, of

which our winery is almost 70% wine club base and 95% DTC base. Understanding the importance of a direct to customer market strategy especially for small businesses as well as the importance of retention.

The internship will teach you the importance of networking with different organisms that provide similar experiences or that have a clientele that could be beneficial for the business as well as

utilizing different target programs to increase volume of the business.

 

Additional skills that will be provided during internship:

 

- Introduction to the wines and learning about the Paso Robles wine region and California's wine regions through tastings and daily exposure.

- The daily organization of a tasting through the opening, the setting up, the mutual help between

each member of the team as well as the decision making in autonomy afterwards.

- Sales strategy and techniques (closing, up-selling), understanding and responding to customer needs while being confident in front of guests.

- How to achieve and set monthly goals based on other team members and the previous months.
